How do I add an app to my Okta Dashboard?

As described in the question above there are a few ways to add apps. Enterprise Apps will just appear in your Dashboard. At the other end of the spectrum, apps that you add through the Okta Browser Plugin will appear in your Dashboard (see the separate Using the Okta Plugin document for more info). The other way to add apps is to access them through the App Catalog.

  • In the Okta Dashboard click on Add apps in the sidebar on the left:

  • The App Catalog is very large, so the easiest way to find an app is to enter the name in the search field:

  • Note that some apps, such as Adobe, have multiple entries in the App Catalog. Find the version of the app that you want to access and then click the Add button
  • You will receive a message that the app has been added to your Dashboard:

  • Back in the My Apps section of the Dashboard you will see your newly added app. Click the ellipsis on the app card to view its details:

  • In the details section on the right click the Edit button. Add your password. If necessary change your Username and then click the Save button:
  • You can now click the app card to launch the app and login.
