Okta Personal is a free password manager that is very similar to the enterprise version of Okta. Like other password managers it can securely store data such as passwords, notes and other info. Okta Personal is available on mobile and desktop environments so that you always have access to your data.

Note that you should use a personal, non-work email to setup your account. That way your data is yours, even if you leave Tamman. Additionally, since Okta Personal is separate and distinct from the Tamman version of Okta, no one in Tamman will have any access to your data.

On the other hand, Okta has created a secure integration between Okta and Okta Personal which will let you leverage some great features that will not be available if you use a different password manager.

This document is not going to try to explain every aspect of Okta Personal. Instead it will walk you through setting up your account and getting the necessary components installed. It will also detail the integration between Okta and Okta Personal. Finally, there are some general tips for getting the most out of Okta Personal.
